This page shares basic instructions on how to use the 2077 app, core features, and guides.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
2077 is a text-to-code app that can create apps in Javascript/Typescript with a working NodeJS powered backend.
2077 is framework agnostic and can create apps in any JS/TS framework as long as its based on React. This includes React itself, NextJS, Astro, and even NextScript for mobile apps.
All apps have a working NodeJS backend and a built-in terminal simulation. The terminal can be used to install and run npm packages over and above what’s included in the first app created by the AI.
In its simplest form, 2077 works when you instruct the app to create a specific type of app in a specific framework. The quality of the output depends on the quality of the input. Vague instructions lead to vague apps.
Below, we’ll guide you through the creation process with an example to-do app.
The first thing you see when you land on the website is a text input that asks you to “enter a prompt…”
This input box accepts any text, but for best results, we suggest using a concise, exact prompt that specifies exactly what you want, in the correct framework and aesthetic.
Remember that this is still a computer, not a real person. While it might be able to deduce what you want from a paragraph of text, you’re better of being precise.
